Why We Love It: Pies! The Bread Basket Cafe and Bakery uses organically grown produce from Stamper Farms & Gardens right down the street to make its pies. Bakers arrive at 5 a.m. to begin filling orders for the day. You can order a whole pie or by the slice from their Danville location. Pie varieties include banana cream, coconut cream, buttermilk, French silk, peanut butter, Dutch apple, raspberry cherry, triple berry, pecan, brownie cream cheese, as well as some seasonal pies. They recommend ordering the pies at least 48 hours in advance.
